　　This 7-year series chronicled the adventures of the Impossible Mission Taskforce (IMF), a team of government spies and specialists who were assigned "impossible missions" by the unseen "Secretary". Although the cast varied over the years, the main characters included The Team Leader (Dan Briggs the first season, then Jim Phelps the other six), The Techno-Wizard (Barney Collier), The Strongman (Willy Armitage), The Master of Disguise (first Rollin Hand, then The Amazing Paris), and The Femme Fatale (Cinnamon Carter, Casey, Dana Lambert, Mimi Davis).
　　
　　The series is best known for its opening mission assignment (conducted by a pre-recorded tape), the theme composed by Lalo Schifrin, the leader's selection of mission agents from a dossier, the opening briefing, the intricate use of disguises and a typical "mask pulloff" scene near the end of most episodes, and the relative lack of characterization of the characters.

　　Almost a year has passed since Ellen Parsons left Hewes and Associates. She is now working in the District Attorney's office and is dealing with a fairly important drug case, trying to get a dealer to reveal the identity of his supplier. Patty Hewes is now acting on behalf of a group of investors trying to recover money they had entrusted to Louis Tobin and who, it turns out, was running a Ponzi scheme. With billions of dollars unaccounted for, Patty is trying to find any funds that may have been hidden by the Tobin family. Patty and Ellen have had no contact since her departure but Patty has been reluctant to re-assign her office, convinced that Ellen will return. She even sends her an expensive handbag. Ellen wants nothing to do with her however and when she thinks Patty may be interfering with her drug case, tells her she doesn't need any help. She also tells her that any secrets she may have are perfectly safe. In a flash-forward 6 months into the future, Patty Hewes is in a serious accident when another car broadsides her vehicle in an intersection. The occupant of the other vehicle has fled but it is registered to someone she knows.

人生到了四五十岁，似乎就不再期待恋爱了？吉野千明（小泉今日子 饰），45岁，单身，职业是电视剧的制片人。有不错的收入，有亲近的朋友，却对恋爱不再抱有希望。觉得自己将要孤老下去的千明考虑到养老，花费自己的全部积蓄，在古都镰仓买下了一座旧宅。在考察镰仓的时候，遇上了当地观光推进科的工作人员，50岁的长仓和平（中井贵一 饰）。二人如同汤姆和杰瑞，结下了孽缘。碰巧，千明的邻居就是长仓一家，由和平的弟弟真平（坂口宪二 饰）经营着咖啡店。治愈系的真平，让千明重新燃起恋爱之心，和长仓家也越走越近。除了真平和长平，还有啰嗦的小妹典子（饭岛直子 饰）和怕见生人的万里子（内田有纪 饰），趣事不断上演。                                    
                               　　45岁，人生行将过半，成了别人口中的“欧巴桑”。恋爱一词让人胆怯难为情却仍旧货真价实的美好。下一次恋爱，把它当成倒数第二次恋爱，就算是“欧巴桑”的未来，仍旧有期待。

　　《左右不逢源 The Middle》主演Patricia Heaton参演多镜头喜剧《转职卡罗尔 Carol’s Second Act》由Emily Halpern及Sarah Haskins执笔的，剧中讲述女主Carol Chambers（Patricia Heaton饰）为了抚养孩子而不当教师后，现在她令人意外地竟然决定要转职当医生。
　　其他主演包括Kyle MacLachlan﹑Ito Aghayere﹑Jean-Luc Bilodeau及Sabrina Jalees。

镜子（川上麻衣子 饰）和男友丰树（神保悟志 饰）相恋多年，最终却落得被抛弃的下场。原来，丰树选择了和家财万贯的千金大小姐富贵子（北原佐和子 饰）结婚，婚后，富贵子很快就怀孕并诞下了一个可爱的女儿，被嫉妒和仇恨冲昏了头脑的镜子偷偷抱走了这个小婴儿，取名为牡丹（大河内奈奈子 饰），将她抚养长大。                                    
                               　　在失去了第一个孩子后，富贵子生下了香世（小泽真珠 饰），在父亲和母亲的疼爱之下，香世顺利的长大了。谁知造化弄人，命运让牡丹和香世这对亲姐妹在相互并不知道对方真实身份的情况下住在了同一屋檐下，香世是高高在上的大小姐，而牡丹则是身份低微的女佣。

出生于音乐名门的东雪彦（风间杜夫 饰）和女佣野川（市毛良枝 饰）私奔，两人之后有了爱情的结晶小雪（小泉今日子 饰）。然而没过多久，东雪彦和野川就先后去世，沦为孤儿的小雪拿着母亲留下的地址孤身一人前往东京，投奔爷爷。                                                                      　　在音乐学院里，小雪偶然邂逅了名为大津（辰巳琢郎 饰）的男子，虽然大津对小雪并没有什么好印象，但小雪却深深的喜欢上了这个优雅专注的男人。小雪在爷爷家的境遇十分糟糕，爷爷不愿意接受小雪体内流淌的野川的血液，而小雪的姑姑更是因为小雪有可能继承家族财产而对她处处提防。爷爷告诉小雪，如果她能够获得钢琴比赛的冠军，便承认她是家族成员，为此，小雪开始了不懈的努力。
